Patch Test for Eyelash Extensions

A Patch Test done before your  Eyelash Extensions is helpful, if you have experienced an allergic reaction or you are concerned that you may react to Eyelash Extensions.

This is a way of determining whether you are allergic to the products I will be using during your appointments. By using a small amount of product on both eyes, we can detect whether you will have a reaction.

This is a 30-45 minutes procedure done at least 48 hours before your full service,  will help us determine if you are allergic to an Eyelash Extension Adhesive.

Do I Need a Patch Test for Eyelash Extensions?

  • If you have reacted in the past, you definitely need a Patch Test.
  • If you have reacted to Lash Extensions, it is the Adhesive you are reacting to.
  • We definitely want to find out with a quick test, rather than with a complete set of lash extensions.

Understanding Allergic Reactions to Eyelash Extensions

Why it’s important

A Patch Test will help us determine,  if you could experience any problems with the Adhesive I have chosen for you.

Important:  I do want to mention that testing cannot be considered 100% accurate.  However, if you do not show any sensitivity to the products I use we will feel more comfortable proceeding with a full service.

If you have had a reaction to Eyelash Adhesive  you should always go to your Doctor.
